Responsible for correcting, issuing, and processing customer billing exceptions in a timely and accurate manner. Analyzes customer account information to determine appropriate actions necessary to produce accurate billing. Supports special billing requirements and operations such as billing adjustments and revenue projection billing.

Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Process both commercial and residential billing exceptions timely and accurate on a daily basis which would also include Supplier based billing for the same customer class. 50


Resolves customer requests and inquiries, performs rate analysis and implements corrective measures and account reconciliation. 25


Processes installation, transfer, and cancellation of service for residential, commercial and industrial customers. Performs analysis of customer metering, rider and tax agreements. 10


Perform billing adjustments as required on escalated accounts from other departments. Also handle exceptional conditions: e.g. retroactive rate and rider changes. 10


Identifies, designs and develops process improvements. Provide management with ideas and input on how to improve and streamline processes and procedures and also worked on projects/initiatives when needed. 5


High school diploma

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of CIMS mainframe and PC software, such as Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Word.

Demonstrated analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a high performance, team environment.

Good written and oral communication skills


6 –12 months experience on CIMS System.

Experience in PECO utility billing including CIMS Service Order work completion.

6 –12 months experience on AMI’s MDM System, Opower, DataRaker, Sensus RNI System and RRD Pivot System.

Experience in working all types of PECO related WFM’s including Service Orders and AMI’s new MDM Work Q exceptions.
