Position Description:We are seeking a full-time candidate to fill an IT Functional Analyst position on the IT Applications – HR/Finance team. The IT Functional Analyst will be asked to provide overall leadership for the delivery of enhancements and maintenance of existing applications, meeting service level agreements, product and lifecycle management for Workday Human Resources (HR), SAP, SAP-integrated and non-SAP service areas. Position Responsibilities:This position is responsible for requirements definition, application analysis and functional design of new solutions. A critical component of this role is working with the Air Products business areas so that new/enhanced functionality and application changes can be implemented effectively. Another key responsibility of this position will be product and lifecycle management for Workday HR, SAP, SAP-integrated and non-SAP service areas. This position is accountable for the following: Ability to perform configuration analysis for Workday HR; SAP Finance (FI) modules knowledge a plusAbility to resolve complex business requirements via Workday HR and SAP FI configured solutionsParticipate in all project stages with accountability for eliciting, validating and documenting business requirements which ensure “value-add” to the clientResponsibility for creating a test strategy and ensuring all functionality is tested prior to production deploymentWork with the Change and Release Management team to ensure representation and coordination of projects throughout the change and release process Work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful completion of project deliverablesProvide product/life cycle, vendor and contract management for supported applicationsContinuously drive excellence in the areas of optimizing services and work processes, improving quality and reliability and lowering total costs Education/Experience: This position requires strong knowledge and skills in the following areas: Strong preference in candidates possessing Workday HR experience; added plus for experience in SAP Finance and integration points between Workday HR, SAP and non-SAP systemsDemonstrated experience in Human Resources business activities; Finance business activity knowledge a plusBachelor’s degree in technical discipline such as computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experienceUp to 5+ years IT or business experience, with a focus on requirements analysis preferredStrong problem solving and teamwork skillsAble to work with minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong presentation skills and ability to lead workshopsStrong vendor relationship and product management skillsGeneral understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service delivery methodology Air Products (NYSE:APD) is a world-leading Industrial Gases company in operation for over 75 years.
